Africville Forever

In 1969, the last home in the Black community of Africville was flattened. The bulldozer was hired by a city that had schemed to claim this valuable land for generations.

In this series, we tell the story of this unique and beautiful place. Born out of adversity, it thrived as a safe haven for people of African descent in Canada.

Collaborating closely with a new generation of activists and respected community elders, Tattle's team played a key role in developing the project and pitching it to strategic partners.

The launch garnered widespread national media attention and earned glowing critical reviews, solidifying its place as a standout production with global reach.

Its success culminated in being honoured as one of Amazon Music’s ‘Best Podcasts of 2022,’ a testament to its quality and impact.
